OBJECTIVES OF NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

  • To understand the community in which students work
  • To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
  • To develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility
  • To utilize students’ knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems

OBJECTIVES OF Women Protection Cell

  • To discuss potential areas for personality improvement in girls and women
  • To organize ‘Gender Sensitization Programs’
  • To prioritize issues concerning young female students
  • To counsel as well as guide female students in copingwith problems and collectively finding positive solutions
  • To conduct activities which bring forth creativity and help in career enhancementsof girl students
  • To prioritize the most disadvantaged women and deal with issues concerning them
  • To provide support and guidance particularly around matters concerning girl students, female faculty and staff on campus
  • To make them feel comfortable on campus and encourage them towards complete involvement in academic excellence, extracurricular activities and programs which in turn will infuse confidence in them
