NSS CELL
OBJECTIVES OF NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
- To understand the community in which students work
- To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
- To develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility
- To utilize students’ knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems
- To develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities
- To gain skills in mobilizing community participation
- To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitudes
- To develop a capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and
- To practice national integration and social harmony

WOMEN PROTECTION CELL
OBJECTIVES OF Women Protection Cell
- To discuss potential areas for personality improvement in girls and women
- To organize ‘Gender Sensitization Programs’
- To prioritize issues concerning young female students
- To counsel as well as guide female students in copingwith problems and collectively finding positive solutions
- To conduct activities which bring forth creativity and help in career enhancementsof girl students
- To prioritize the most disadvantaged women and deal with issues concerning them
- To provide support and guidance particularly around matters concerning girl students, female faculty and staff on campus
- To make them feel comfortable on campus and encourage them towards complete involvement in academic excellence, extracurricular activities and programs which in turn will infuse confidence in them
