St. Mary’s Centenary Degree College, an affiliated college of Osmania University takes pride in being an educational home to almost 1000 plus students with 25 well-experienced teaching staff members.

With a humble beginning in the year 2001, we have now grown from strength to strength in all academic aspects. We believe in the emphasis on strong basic skills in our students.

We are currently expanding our technology usage in instructions which is evident in our well-equipped computer labs. Our focus is to prepare our students with the right ingredients of success before they leave our hallways and transition to individuals having the right mindset and attitude, which will obviously go a long way in shaping their personal and professional life.

We are fortunate to have with us a highly involved and dedicated staff that works diligently to ensure that all our students meet their learning goals and maximize their potential. Together as a learning community, we strive to meet our vision of “Duty, Service, and Purity!”

FAITH IN GOD

Without faith its impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6), so our relationship with the Lord is dependent on it. Faith is what brings the things God has provided for us from the spiritual realm into the physical realm (Heb. 11:1). Our faith is the victory that enables us to overcome the world
(1 John 5:4). Everything the Lord does for us is accessed through faith.

MORAL UPRIGHTNESS

A person of character has the wisdom to distinguish between right and wrong – is honest, trustworthy, fair in dealings, truthful and admits while learning from mistakes. A morally upright person possesses the courage and conviction to tread on the righteous path and commits to live on his/her own moral principles. We understand the vital role our teachers play as role models of moral uprightness while grooming our students towards the desired societal and moral values.

LOVE FOR FELLOW BEINGS

Men today have become more concerned about themselves and are losing touch with humanity and modern technology only takes them further away isolating them from reality. It is here that we believe that sensitizing our students to the needs of their fellow human beings will go a long way in shaping their attitude towards people and life. The obvious advantages are many like

It will improve the life of another, at least a little;
It will make the world a better place, one little step at a time;
And if that kindness is passed on, it can multiply and multiply

SOCIAL RESPONSBILITIY

Being Socially Responsible means that people must behave ethically and with sensitivity toward social, cultural, economic and environmental issues. Striving for social responsibility helps individuals make positive impact on their immediate community thereby impacting the larger community along with positive outcomes for individual development too.

We realize that the social responsibility inculcated in our students will prepare them for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) which is an important sought-after trait by hiring organizations.

Keeping in line with our college Motto of “DUTY, SERVICE, AND PURITY”, as our Central Values, we are on a continuous endeavor of inculcating the right spirit of duty and service in our students while bringing about pure thoughts and actions in them. The wide array of courses offered at our college and the other co-curricular activities conducted during the year are holistically designed to prepare our St. Marians for a highly challenging environment in this ever-growing competitive world
